I see. Advertising: too much of it, too obvious, and that’s a tip-off to LE. Chances are the place is monitored. What legit place would put “table shower” in an ad? So as a seasoned and now careful monger, I need to know your place is out there, but am put off by reckless advertising. Discretion, discretion. Ever heard of Vice’s “3 C’s”: commercial, complaint, conspicuous. You got ‘em all and the bust is coming. Now sex for money will always be “commercial”, but if the place at least looks like it would avoid obviousness and complaints, I rate it safe.
Staff: I’m not typical, so most guys won’t relate…I avoid places full of young girls who don’t speak English and with a high turn-over rate. They’re after a quick buck and disappear, hopefully before the raid. Koreans have been known to shuffle illegal girls from place to place, sometimes across state lines. Doesn’t fool LE and reeks of slave-trade: big turn-off.
I much prefer low-key places that appear legit, but do offer extras if they get the right vibe from you. Takes a little more work on the customer’s part, but worth it to me.
Also, I like going back to the same girl: it gets more comfortable, thus better with time. I’m all about the interaction, not just getting off (can do that on my own, thank you!).
Service: I’m a full-service guy and that’s what I’m looking for. However, if the girls are nice, I know to enjoy whatever they have to give – if it’s just a massage, that’s fine. So I’m big on friendliness. I enjoy the chit-chat with them. That’s why I don’t go to Chinese HJ factories anymore: too much rushing and BS there.
Providers: again not typical, but I like older, more experienced ones. I can’t believe a girl in her ’30’s (especially if Asian) is considered old. Young chicks don’t really know what they’re doing and want to make their buck NOW. More mature ones have all kinds of skills, are less money-hungry (not that I’m cheap, but I don’t like rush jobs and money talk), and open to enjoying the interaction themselves. They also know how to build a relationship. Oldest provider I’ve had must have been 45 – not a pb at all if she’s nice and willing.
Ethnicity: I’ve posted enough that you know I stick to Asians. They have a unique quality to them. And it’s not their youthfulness (see what I said about age), it’s the feminity. So rare in the West and especially the states. I LOVE Asian masseuses – they got it all (the so-called “good girls” are immature, materialistic, and asexual princesses).
Now be aware that for most guys I’ve talked to, the opposite of the above is true, so I’m not sure how helpful my little post is. Mongers like very young looking chicks who won’t “bore” them with a word of English (and that they can talk down to and disrespect). They want fresh ones every time and always ask the mama-san for “new girls”. They also seem to favor gaudy hooker looks (cheesy dye-jobs, tons of make-up, fake boobs, skimpy outfits, etc.). Mongers are an impulsive and reckless bunch: they get horny, pick-up a local rag, and run to the nearest MP after work. Knowing that, a lot of places advertise and staff accordingly.
Addendum to the novel: a lot of places, sometimes per local ordinance, post signs that state that no sexual contact will happen. Everybody knows they mean nothing and you have to already be in the room to see them. But when it comes to ads: if you say “no sex” or “legitimate”, every guy I know will look elsewhere. Interestingly, even the legit places know this and don’t advertise that way. They’d rather have mongers show up and get angry – maybe they think they can still convince some to get a massage, I guess.
But what I personally like to see is “professional massage” or “friendly Asian staff”. That doesn’t give anything away but tells me what I need to know, and although there’s a risk the place is purely legit, at least I’m not afraid that LE is camping in the back lot. Know what I mean?
The sexy photos (stolen from porn sites and others) and mentions of ” young new girls” or “hot latinas” are too obviously put there for mongers, and we’re back to those damn “3 C’s”. I avoid those places.
As far as getting return business, it’s tricky because mongers are as fickle as the girls. But you know that some guys are “regular” material. Those guys like to feel that they’re in on a secret and getting something special (I know I do). They enjoy the VIP treatment – it’s an ego thing. As a woman and a provider, Missy, I’m sure you know exactly what to do to massage… a man’s ego. Girls tell us we’re handsome, or too big for them, etc. We don’t believe them, but it’s nice to hear. Here’s my particular ego trip, though: the mama-san (new) advises me that I can’t get an hour, only 30-45′ max. As usual, I don’t argue (rule#1: the mama-san is always right!). She goes around to let me in, disappears, then tells me, “One hour, OK!”. I give her the difference and once she’s in the room, the provider tells me that she recognized my voice and told the mama-san that I was good to go for an hour – the rule was for newbs and assholes! Don’t I feel special, now…
Or this one, after the session, the girl asks me if I’m in a hurry, because if not she’d like to spend more time with me for free and would gladly pay the ama-san herself. I always turn it down politely, but that’s an ego-booster, too. If she’s willing to lower her guard or lose a buck, it must mean that I’m doing something right…or more likely that she knows how to get a guy to come back for more, of course. It’s an investment for her. Again this is something I’ve seen experienced girls do, not so much the new ones.
Finally, it’s unethical for the girls to take customers away from the MP, of course. But they still do because that’s more money for them and the risk of a bust is almost zero outside. I don’t know if it’s something you’ve tried (and beware of the physical risk to yourself), but most of my regulars have at least hinted once that they’d like to see me outside or for me to become their “special friend”. Before my favorite AMP closed, one of my ATF’s gave me her phone number and we’ve been seeing each other at her place or mine. She’d been burned before and was initially a little apprehensive, but we’re now friends and it’s been a fantastic arrangement. I sure hope she doesn’t feel dirty or thinks of herself as a whore, because I sure don’t treat her that way. Something to think about in these lean times.

Come on, guys…I’m sure you can help Missy out, here! I’m sure this post is getting a lot of attention, with a title like that…
What always brings me in is variety. I look for new girls, so if it says “new staff” I go and try it out for myself. I love to find new girls from far away places. New girls from other parlors, or other states. I also like brand new working girls who have little experience.
I think that Georgie represent the majority of mongers out there.
MPs know this and advertise accordingly. The huge provider turnover is probably caused as much by burnout and the need to move constantly to stay ahead of LE, than by the requests for novelty.
AFAIC, the excitement of new faces each time has passed and I now go for experience and familiarity. It’s always better the second time. After a while, yeah, routine can get to you and that’s why I rotate regulars.
For those wondering about the GFE – it won’t happen right away. The girl has to trust you first. But once she does, you’ll reap the benefits of your investment. =)
I’ve never been to one and will be in Las Vegas looking for one to go to, but don’t know how to choose. I would like an exotice massage with a happy ending and other extras that would come along.
